A chilly start to your christmas morning, but a warmer afternoon is on the way. Dry weather has returned to our region for Christmas Day. Showers that were impacting the region yesterday have now moved off to the east. Some clouds are expected through the day, but that's about it. Temperatures have dipped into the 30's in the valley overnight, and into the 20's to 30's in the mountains. Winds will be up to 10mph out of the north today. High temperatures will climb into the low to mid 60's for the valley this afternoon, and most mountain areas are projected to end up just around 50 degrees.

The dry and warm trend continues this week. Temperatures will warm by around 4 or 5 degrees heading into the end of the week. only a slight chance for showers returning to areas just South of the Oregon border for Thursday and Friday. I hope everyone enjoys the warmer weather today, and has a very Merry Christmas!
