Bundle up before you head out the door this morning. Temperatures are starting out several degrees cooler than 24 hours ago. Some patchy fog will be possible this morning, and could limit visibility for commuters early today. Mostly clear skies have returned to our area this morning, but a few clouds will be returning to the mountains this afternoon. We will also have a slight chance for a few isolated showers popping up in the mountains late in the day. The vast majority of Northern California will stay dry today. Temperatures are starting out in the 30's to 40's this morning in the valley, and mountain areas have dipped into the low 20's to low 30's overnight. Winds are starting out light, but will be up to 10mph out of variable directions this afternoon. High temperatures will climb into the low to mid 60's in the valley today, and mountain areas will end up in the mid 40's to mid 50's this afternoon.
Mostly cloudy skies, and the potential for more wet weather will return to Northern California on Wednesday. Most of the wet weather is expected to stay in the mountains, with only a slight chance for light showers in the valley. Overall, it looks like valley areas will have a 10 to 20% chance of rain on Wednesday. Temperatures will start out in the mid 40's in the valley, and end up in the mid 60's on Wednesday afternoon. Mostly sunny skies, and a welcome warming trend will then return to our area on Thursday. Valley areas are projected to top out in the low 70's on Thursday afternoon.
Sunny to mostly sunny skies, and even warmer temperatures are ahead for your Friday and weekend. Valley areas are projected to top out in the low 80's on Friday and Saturday, and then in to the mid 80's on Sunday and Monday. Conditions will stay dry this weekend.
