Driver hospitalized after crashing into tree at Highway 99 on-ramp

A car crash at a busy intersection sent one person to the hospital on Tuesday.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif – A car crash at a busy intersection sent one person to the hospital.

The California Highway Patrol said a driver crashed into a tree at the Highway 99 on-ramp and Cohasset Road at around 2 a.m. Tuesday.

The driver was extricated and hospitalized.

No other vehicles were involved.
