CHICO, Calif. - The Downtown Chico Business Association (DCBA) is inviting people to rake in the savings and celebrate the changing of the season during their Harvest Sidewalk Sale. This annual event has been taking place in downtown Chico for more than 30 years.

The event takes place Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Organizers said businesses have gone to great lengths to offer fantastic deals, hometown hospitality while shopping in a clean and safe environment. The DCBA is providing PPE to shops that will be open for in-person shopping or curbside pickup.

Downtown shoppers are asked to adhere to state guidelines of wearing a mask, keeping six feet apart, and not coming out if they are feeling ill.

Shoppers can make a preset appointment with their favorite shops. Shops will be limiting how many people are inside their business at one time.

Early Bird shoppers can get a jumpstart on deals starting Friday, Oct. 9 at 10:00 a.m.
