PALO CEDRO, Calif. – Deputies are searching for two men who rammed a vehicle through the front wall of Holiday Market Thursday in Palo Cedro.
It happened around 3 a.m. Thursday. An employee was working inside at the time and saw two masked men exit the vehicle after it drove through the exterior wall near the front door, deputies said. The employee started running away from the two men and called law enforcement.
At some point, while deputies were responding to the scene the suspects left the business in the same vehicle. Deputies said the incident was captured on security cameras but it’s unknown what items were taken from the business.
The vehicle used by the two suspects appears to be an early 2000’s, white Nissan Frontier pickup truck, according to the sheriff’s office. The vehicle has damage to the rear end and rear passenger side of the bed.
The suspects involved were described as two, white men, both around six feet tall. Deputies said the driver of the vehicle was wearing a blue colored bandana and sweatshirt. The passenger was wearing a gray colored hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white colored K-Swiss brand tennis shoes.
Deputies said the employee was not harmed during the incident. They’re continuing to investigate the scene and ask anyone with information to call 530-245-6540.
