Deputies arrest man after locating 5 stolen vehicles

A man was arrested when deputies served a search warrant and located five stolen vehicles.

SUTTER COUNTY, Calif. - A man was arrested in Olivehurst after deputies located several stolen vehicles at a residence, the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office said.

On July 4, deputies received a burglary report at the 1800 block of South Meridian Rd. in Meridian. Deputies said several high-priced items like two boats, a trailer and an ATV were reported stolen.

On July 26, detectives served a search warrant to the 2700 block of Mage Ave. in Olivehurst with the help of the Yuba County Sheriff's Office and Yuba CHP.

During the search, five stolen vehicles were recovered and several pieces of property were found at the Meridian address.

44-year-old Leon Wyatt was arrested and booked into the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office.

Wyatt is facing burglary, stolen property and vandalism charges. His bail is set at $150,000.
