ANDERSON, Calif. - Republican District 1 Representative Doug LaMalfa will face off against Democratic challenger Audrey Denney Sunday, in the first of two debates.

The debate for the Congressional seat will be held Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018, from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. at Anderson New Tech Senior High School.

The Anderson forum is produced by the League of Women Voters of Shasta County. Forum attendees are forbidden from wearing any swag (t-shirts, buttons, stickers, etc.) supporting a specific party or candidate.

The second of the two Congressional District 1 debates between LaMalfa and Denney will be held in Plumas County in the community of Graeagle on Monday. The debate is scheduled from 7 - 8:30 p.m. It will take place at the Graeagle Fire Hall located at 7620 Highway 89.

Denney is scheduled to meet voters in Mount Shasta on Tuesday, Sept. 25, from 5:30 - 7 p.m. at ExperShare Workspaces. There were no upcoming election events listed on the incumbent's campaign website or Facebook page.
