Oroville, Calif.—The Department of Water Resources announced Wednesday that those who receive water from Lake Oroville through the State Water Project will get 30% of their requests.

A 100% allocation is rare even in wet years due to the Delta pumping restrictions set to protect threatened and endangered fish.

California hasn’t seen a 100% allocation since 2006.

Statewide the snow water content is 37% of average.

Lake Oroville is about at two thirds capacity.
