Crews work to extinguish fire in Bangor

CAL FIRE crews are mopping up the remnants of a fire in Bangor on Friday.

BANGOR, Calif. - CAL FIRE crews are mopping up the remnants of a fire in Bangor on Friday.

Fire officials said the fire was about 2-5 acres in size in the area of Bangor Park Road and Dunstone Drive. 

CAL FIRE responded to the scene Friday afternoon, releasing tankers and doing mop-up containment. They do not expect the fire to grow in size, they said.
