Crews rescued someone from a house fire in Palermo on Wednesday.

PALERMO, Calif. - Crews rescued someone from a house fire in Palermo on Wednesday.

Flames broke out around 5 p.m. Wednesday in a home in Palermo.

Crews saved one person from the fire and they are now recovering from burns.

Investigators determined the fire started because of oil that was cooking on the stove.

CAL FIRE is now warning everyone to not leave food cooking on the stove unattended, even for a moment.
