SHINGLETOWN, Calif. – CAL FIRE officials said that forward progress on the Ridge Fire has been stopped. The fire remains at 15 acres.
The cause has been determined to be from a vehicle that caught fire and spread to the vegetation.
All road closures and evacuations will be lifted at 4:30 p.m., according to CAL FIRE SHU.
An evacuation order was put in place for Samerit Ln, Bunny Tail Rd, Redrock Rd, Marshall Dr, Chapman Ave, & Larry Ln due to the Ridge Fire. There is also a road closure in place for Shingletown Ridge Rd. at HWY 44 to Black Butte Rd.
The fire is located at Highway 44 and Shingletown Ridge Rd in Shingletown.
