Crews extinguish pickup truck fire on Pentz Rd., traffic down to one lane

CAL FIRE Butte County said it put out a pickup truck fire on Monday morning on Pentz Rd.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - CAL FIRE responded to a report of a pickup truck on fire Monday morning on Pentz Rd., CAL FIRE Butte County said.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, they were able to put the fire out.

California Highway Patrol said there is one-way traffic control and the northbound lane is closed half a mile north of the Lime Saddle area.

CAL FIRE said it responded to a different incident of a propane truck overturned on Foster Rd. It said the truck was not leaking and crews are waiting for a tow truck to arrive.
