PALERMO, Calif. - CAL FIRE crews worked to put out a mobile home fire in Palermo on Thursday afternoon.

Officials said the fire started in the back room of one of the units at Pleasant Grove Mobile Home Park around 1 p.m.

The fire was caused by an unattended extension chord.

It took firefighters 20 minutes to put out the fire before they did a search of the home.

No one was inside the home when the fire broke out and there were no injuries, authorities said.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
