BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. – Public Health officials said due to the Bear Fire, the state’s COVID-19 testing site OptumServe, located at the Silver Dollar fairgrounds, has been required to relocated operations and is temporarily unavailable.
Optum Serve will be in contact with individuals who had previously scheduled an appointment, according to public health. Residents in Butte County may register and access COVID-19 testing at OptumServe locations in nearby counties, including Glenn, Sutter, and Tehama. Click here to make an appointment.
Additional coronavirus testing locations can also be viewed at Butte County Public Health’s website. The COVID-19 call center is also temporarily unavailable due to the fire.
The COVID-19 website and dashboard will not be updated due to the Bear Fire as Public Health offices have been evacuated, BCPH announced on Wednesday. For the latest news on the Bear Fire, click here.
