VACAVILLE, Calif. - Saturday night two Corning women in their mid-30's were arrested in Vacaville after a traffic stop near the Premium Outlets.

Vacaville police said Jade Bunn and Jennifer Jensen were stopped around midnight while cruising through the city.

The cops said the two were evasive and even provided false names, and said they probably did that because they both had warrants out for their arrests.

A search was conducted and a "large" amount of methamphetamine was discovered, along with a firearm.

"We're not exactly certain why they found themselves in Vacaville," said one of the officers on Facebook, "... but are simply happy we were able to take those drugs and another gun off our streets."

Bunn and Jensen were take to jail for their outstanding warrants and added charges for a variety of drug charges including possession for sales, and gun charges including being a felon in possessino of a firearm.

Officers will continue to investigate this incident. "Traffic stops like this," the officer said, "... are often just the tip of the proverbial iceberg."
