CORNING, Calif. - Corning Police Department conducted a traffic stop on the night of Oct. 25 that led to officers finding hundreds of pounds of marijuana.
While officers conducted a traffic stop, they say the driver fled on foot. This leaving the vehicle in drive and causing it to roll down the road.
Officers stopped the vehicle before it struck a power pole.
A search of the vehicle was conducted, where officers say approximately 400 pounds of marijuana was found.
The search for the suspect was unsuccessful.
