BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - The contract between Enloe Medical Center and Anthem Blue Cross is set to expire Tuesday.

Both sides have agreed that the extended contract is set to end Tuesday. There is no word yet if negotiators will agree to another extension before eliminating their contract.

An expired contract would make Enloe Medical Center an "out of network" provider for Anthem-insured patients, which includes Enloe Medical Center employees.

In the most recent update on the negotiations, Enloe representatives said discussions are "very positive."
