PARADISE, Calif. — Renovation and construction has started for a new Grocery Outlet at the former site of CVS, located at 6800 Skyway Road, Paradise.

The opening of the Paradise Grocery Outlet will also be creating 30 new jobs in the community, according to town officials.

The store is expected to open in fall of 2021.

“After years of devastation and the loss of the original Grocery Outlet store, followed by rebuilding, we are excited to bring Grocery Outlet back to the town of Paradise,” Mark Engstrom of Engstrom Properties said.

The company has more than 375 locations throughout California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington.

The Paradise Grocery Outlet will be owned by Independent Owner-Operators based in the local community and will be announced closer to the store opening.

Engstrom Properties is a commercial development company based in Sacramento and founded in 1986.
