Congressman LaMalfa to host meeting for Bear Fire victims

Congressman Doug LaMalfa is hosting an informational meeting with victims of the North Complex West Zone, also known as the Bear Fire.

OROVILLE, Calif. – Congressman Doug LaMalfa will host a fire information session with victims of the North Complex West Zone on Friday, Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. at the Oroville Municipal Auditorium.

Representatives for LaMalfa say there will be limited space and seating will be prioritized for fire victims. The state is requiring that this event complies with all coronavirus requirements, including masks, social distancing, and temperature checks.

“Victims of the North Complex West Zone need an opportunity to have their many questions answered, get the most up-to-date information on the fire, and learn about what resources are available for their recovery,” said LaMalfa. “My team is ready and available to support fire victims as we navigate this recovery process together.”

The event will also be livestreamed on Congressman LaMalfa’s Facebook page.
