Congressman Doug LaMalfa said Tuesday he will join other republican members of the Senate and House of Representatives in objecting to the certification of Electoral College votes in Wednesday's joint session.

In a statement to Action News Now, LaMalfa said:

“Millions of Americans and tens of thousands of my constituents have serious questions and concerns about the November election. There has been an endless dripping of reports of mishandled ballots, numbers not adding up and outright violations of the U.S. Constitution’s clear direction for setting election rules. These questions must be answered and no amount of media spin or declarations of 'nothing to see here, move along' will change the concerns that many of us share."

LaMalfa goes on to blame the courts for not doing their job. He does not mention former Attorney General William Barr's declaration that there is no evidence of widespread fraud.

We have beautiful weather around northern California right now, but it will get a lot more unsettled this weekend as a storm moves overhead. We can expect gusty wind, a big cooldown, and areas of light to moderate rain.
