Community Workshop on Stress and Trauma Coming to Redding

This workshop hopes to teach participants traumatized from the fires coping and stress management techniques.

REDDING, Calif. - The Shasta Health Assessment and Redesign Collaborative and the Health Alliance of Northern California are sponsering a stress management workshop in Redding for survivors of the recent Carr and Camp Fires.

The half-day event takes place on Jan. 14, at the Redding First Church of the Nazarene.

Those who work in medical professions, or are first responders are also encouraged to take part.

The deadline to register is Jan. 7.

The Lions Club is supporting a limited amount of scholarships for the workshop for those in financial need.
