COLUSA, Calif. – After two months of shutting down due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Colusa Casino Resort is gearing up to reopen on June 3 at 8 a.m.
The Cachil Dehe Band of Wintun Indians of the Colusa Indian Community and Colusa Casino Resort team made the announcement in a press release Friday.
“We are so happy to begin welcoming back our family of team members and guests; we’ve missed seeing everyone,” said General Manager, Victor Fernandez. "We received a very supportive and encouraging response to our Health & Safety plan from Colusa County Public Health and find comfort in knowing our extensive preparations will ensure a safe and, as always, fun gaming environment.”
Phase one of reopening will include limited capacity, gaming machines, and hours of operation. Temporary hours of operation during phase one will be Sunday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday to Saturday from 8 to 2 a.m. All guests and employees will be required to wear face coverings at all time, and have their temperature checked upon entry.
Jack’s Place will offer a limited to-go only menu. Table 45 will offer dine-in service to groups smaller than six. Table games, Bingo, River Valley Lodge, the gift shop, 37Seventy, and the snack bar will remain closed during this phase.
