REDDING, Calif. – The City of Redding is looking to transform Park Marina Drive.
The city wants to link Park Marina Drive, downtown Redding, Turtle Bay, and Redding neighborhoods. City leaders want to improve and increase public transportation access within the area, improve traffic flow, and enhance the quality of life for people living in the area.
"Park Marina Drive has long been as a facility kind of targeted as a facility for future improvement just because of where it is, its proximity to the Sacramento River, it's kind of the connection point to a lot of residential areas to the south,” explained Shelby Nadin, Associate Engineer for the city of Redding.
There will be a workshop for the Park Marina Corridor project from 4:30 to 6 p.m., on Wednesday through Zoom. To sign up, click here.
