REDDING, Calif. - The City of Redding announced it will close its facilities to the public on Monday, Oct. 12 because coronavirus cases are surging.
All essential services will remain in place during the closure with modifications.
Services like building and encroachment permits, planning applications, Utility Customer Service, City Treasurer payment processing, and housing services will be available by appointment only. Paper submissions will require the use of drop-boxes at city facilities.
Police, Fire and Electric services will remain in place with no changes to emergency calls, but non-emergency calls may be handled via phone or online.
