GRIDLEY, Calif. -- Harris Tree Service is offering to dispose of Christmas trees free of charge. All you have to do is take your tree to harris tree service at 302 East Evans Reimer Road in Gridley.
They'll be shredding the trees into mulch and giving it to anyone who wants it.
"Instead of them going into the landfills or trip to the dump, we end up we chip them, turn them into mulch and people want the mulch for gardens and to cover weeds" said Hank Harris.
You can drop off your Christmas trees next to the big wooden snowman outside Harris Tree Service through January 25th.
