Chico woman busted for meth, cash and firearms

A Chico woman was arrested for possessing 8 1/2 pounds of methamphetamine, some heroin, a stolen rifle, and more than $200,000 in cash.

A Chico woman was arrested for possessing 8 1/2 pounds of methamphetamine, some heroin, a stolen rifle, and more than $200,000 in cash.

When BINTF agents went to serve a warrant to 49 year old Ann Vance at her Purcell Lane home last Thursday, they noticed her driving away. They pulled her over, discovering 8.4 pounds of methamphetamine in the process.

They found more meth in her house, and around $100,000 more cash.

Another $100,000 was found in a storage locker, along with a 1/2 oz.of heroin, a stolen rifle, and four more firearms.

BINTF agents say during this recent arrest they took over $112,000 of narcotics off of the streets of Butte County.
