Chico woman stabbed at mobile home

A chico woman is behind bars after being accused of stabbing another woman.

CHICO, Calif. - A chico woman is behind bars after being accused of stabbing another woman.

Chico police said they were called to the Creekside Village Mobile Home Park on the Esplanade Saturday, Aug. 31, at approximately 4:17 p.m. for a stabbing.

They found the suspect, 29-year-old Jennifer Meyer nearby Mud Creek Levee.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and suffered nonlife-threatening injuries. Meyer is being held on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
