Chico police seeking citizen help to solve assault case

Sunday morning a victim was assaulted on W. 20th Street, possibly near Ricky Court, according to the Chico Police Department.

CHICO, Calif. - The Chico Police Department is looking for information concerning an assault that allegedly took place early Sunday morning on W. 20th Street, possibly near Ricky Court.

At approximately 4:45 a.m. Chico police responded to a call from a local hospital because a possible assault victim had been taken there for treatment. Police talked to the victim, and believe that the assault took place in the Ricky Court Area. The victim's injuries, according to police, were consistent with them being struck with an object.

The suspect is described as a large male adult.
