BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - Butte County Drug Agents arrested a Chico man following a short pursuit in Chico.
48-year-old Christopher Harrison was wanted on a warrant, after a search of his home on West Lassen Ave., turned up methamphetamine, more than four pounds of marijuana, and a stolen gun.

However, when the search warrant was conducted, Harrison was not present. An additional suspect, 37-year-old Jesse Janto was also not present.
On Thursday, Oct. 31, a deputy spotted Harrison riding a bicycle in the area of East Lassen Ave. and Highway 99 in Chico.
The deputy attempted to stop Harrison with his marked patrol vehicle, however, Harrison fled on the bicycle. After a short pursuit, the deputy was able to catch up to Harrison and take him into custody.
The deputy who arrested him said Harrison had 11 grams of methamphetamine, and additional marijuana on him in-person when he was arrested.
Harrison was charged with resisting arrest, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as the outstanding warrant for the BINTF case.
Harrison was housed at the Butte County Jail with $32,000 bail.

Janto is wanted for possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of ammunition by a felon, and possession of stolen property.
