CHICO, Calif. - Someone stole a sign from a Chico Community Art Market.

The artists affected said they can't afford to buy another sign to replace it.

Artist Cecilia Lore says someone ripped off the sign from the "Gratitude Market" last week.

She's hoping the person who took it will do the right thing and return it.

"Well we don't have the money to get another sign right away so we'll have to wait until we can afford another one," Lore said.

Lore says she's been open for only six months and the sign was her only form of advertising.

The last two days saw quite a bit of rain in Northern California. Today we could see more but the showers look to be more isolated today than in previous days. Highs today are expected to reach the upper 50s to lower 60s.
