Chico, Calif.—The Chico Unified School District’s new online school will be located at the Chico Mall.
The Oak Bridge Academy will provide a more flexible option for students and families.
The Oak Bridge Academy will be located across from Verizon near the entrance of the former Sears.
The primary curriculum will be provided by Edgenuity.
Two full time teachers have been hired to start the program.
Classes will be online, but students will also be able to co-enroll at any other Chico Unified School.
Students can access programs like band, and technical career programs at other schools in the district.
Students can also take part in sports at the Chico Unified High School that is in the attendance area where they live.
