CHICO, Calif. - The President of Chico State had a special surprise for students crunching for their finals.

This has become a Chico State tradition, President Gayle Hutchinson took time on Thursday to deliver snacks to students studying in Meriam Library for finals.

President Hutchinson wanted to wish students good luck on their exams as finals week comes to an end.

Friday is the last day of finals before Chico State students get to head home for the long holiday break.

The spring semester will kick off on Jan. 21, giving students plenty of time to wind down after a busy semester.

We've had a gray and cool start to the first full week of December in northern California. Light rain showers will fall tonight, we can expect a breezy and brighter Tuesday, with much more active weather ahead.
