Chico Police searching for stabbing witnesses

The Chico Police Department released new information on the stabbing downtown last Friday.

The Chico Police Department released new information on the stabbing downtown last Friday.

Police first received a call about a fight involving nearly two dozen people at west 6th and Ivy Streets Friday about 8:30 p-m.

A stabbing victim from the fight showed up at Enloe Medical Center.

Police released the description of two vehicles at the scene.

One is a white sedan the other a silver sedan.

The make and model of the vehicles are unknown.

Police also say witnesses may have recorded the fight on their phone and are asking anyone with video to contact Chico Police.
