Chico Police are looking for two suspects that authorities said beat and robbed two pedestrians at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.

CHICO, Calif.- Chico Police are looking for two suspects that authorities said beat and robbed two pedestrians at gunpoint early Wednesday morning. 

Police said the robbery happened around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning near the corner of W. Sacramento Avenue and Warner Street. 

Two pedestrians, ages 22 and 23, reported that three black, adult men approached them from behind after exiting a silver 4-door sedan.

Authorities said that one of the suspects brandished a pistol and battered the victims with it while demanding cash. The pedestrians had visible injuries. 

Following the crime, authorities said the suspects got into the car and fled the area heading eastbound on W. Sacramento Avenue.
