Runaway Chico teenager located

Update: Chico Police share that 13-year-old runaway has been located.

Update: 1:02 p.m., Sept. 28, 2019 - Dixon's mother contacted Chico Police and indicated that with multiple social media posts and people looking out for him, Dixon was located around 12:30 p.m.

CHICO, Calif. - Chico Police is searching for Devin Dixon after he has not been seen since Sept. 26.

Dixon, 13-years-old, left a location near the Esplanade and West Sacramento Avenue around 2 p.m. on Thursday to an unknown destination.

Officers say Dixon was recently involved in an argument with family and was upset.

He is believed to have been seen at the Thursday Night Market as well as a local high school football game.

At this time, Chico Police say foul play is not suspected, though his family is concerned.
