Chico Police say a man wanted in two armed robberies has been captured.
Police say Perry Lynch, 29, robbed the Metro PCS on 575 B East Avenue, Chico, at 12:37 p.m. Wednesday. Officers say employees witnessed him fleeing the scene on a bicycles.
The suspect was seen by officers at the bike path at Cohasset near Esplanade. He ran from officers north on Esplanade, and was captured at 120 Menlo Way complex.
Police say he also robbed the Check N Go on 118 W. East Avenue, Chico, on Friday March 15th. Officers say he fled the scene on a bicycle in that instance as well.
Officers found a replica firearm in his possession. Lynch was arrested for the two robberies, as well as a misdemeanor warrant.
