CHICO, Calif. - A man is still the run after Chico police said he robbed the manager's office of an apartment complex on East Lassen Avenue Monday night.
Police said the man walked into the office asking staff if he could rent an apartment.
After that, he pulled back his coat, revealing a handgun on his waistband, according to officers.
The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, at which point the suspect fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6-feet tall, who has an athletic build.
Police have not released the exact location of where the crime happened.
