CHICO, Calif.- Chico Police are on the lookout for an armed robber on Thursday morning.
Wednesday night around 8 p.m. officers received a report of an armed robbery that occurred at the intersection of W. Shasta Ave. and the Esplanade at the “Mi Taquito” taco truck.
Customers called in, saying that they saw a tall, thin, white man in dark clothing running from the business while taking off a face mask.
Employees told the customers that they had been robbed. They said the man entered through the side door of the food truck, pointed a gun at the employees and demanded money. He then ran off down W. Shasta Ave. with an unknown amount of cash.
Officers arrived in the area within minutes and began to search for the suspect, but were unable to find him.
