CHICO, Calif. - Officers arrested two people after a search of a home on W. Sacramento ave. Sunday night.
Chico Police said their weekend graveyard team conducted a proactive parole search at the home of 35-year-old Omarr Lewis around 8:45 p.m. Sunday. Inside the home officers say they another felon 39-year-old Desiree Alleyne and found meth, tear gas, a stun gun, and ammunition.
Officers said they found Lewis in the garage smoking meth with several other people, alongside a 9mm "ghost gun" that was converted into a fully automatic pistol and loaded with an extended magazine. Police say they also found several replica firearms in the garage and several pieces of stolen mail.
Alleyne was booked for several charges, including possession of methamphetamine and felon in possession of tear gas. Lewis was also booked for multiple charges, including being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a ghost gun, possession of a large-capacity magazine, and possession of a machinegun.
Both subjects were booked into the Butte County Jail.
