Chico Police Alert: Missing Juvenile

Chico Police are currently seeking a missing juvenile. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department.

CHICO, Calif. - The Chico Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a missing juvenile.

According to a department press release, officers are looking for 17-year-old Jose Marquez.

Police say on Oct. 14, just before 11 p.m., Marquez left a location near Rio Lindo Avenue in Chico and has not been seen since.

Marquez left the location on foot en route to an unknown destination. Marquez is currently homeless and according to his family. He has been diagnosed with anxiety and depression.

At this time police do not suspect foul play, but his family is concerned for his safety.
