Chico 'Plant Barn' Revives 'Green Thumbs' for Camp Fire Survivors

The Camp Fire, of course, destroyed thousands of homes, but it also destroyed a lot of gardens.

CHICO, Calif. - The Camp Fire, of course, destroyed thousands of homes, but it also destroyed a lot of gardens.


That’s why the Plant Barn, off of Entler Avenue in Chico, hosted a little get together to help replant the community.


The barn sent out invites on social media for people to receive a gift bag.


People also had a chance to plant succulents, build ornaments and eat some good food.


The event ended at 3 p.m. Sunday.
