CHICO, Calif. - The Baha'i Community of Chico is hosting a "Light of Unity" festival on Sunday, October 27th, at the Chico Women's Club at 592 east 3rd Street.
The event is free and open to the public from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
The festival is focused on creating unity and honoring diversity. Organizers say it's in celebration of the 200th Anniversary of the Birth of Bab, Herald of the Baha'i Faith.
There will be performances by the Celebration Gospel Choir, Ballet Folklorico of Rosedale, Leaders of a Lifetime Hmong Dancers, Baba - African Storyteller, Irish music by Tom Threlkeld and Tristan Rice and piano music by Thorsteinn Gunter.
