Chico Lego lovers show out for 6th annual Toy Brick Builders

Lego lovers came out in force for the sixth annual "Brick Builders" event over the weekend in Chico.

CHICO, Calif. – Lego lovers came out in force for the sixth annual Chico Toy Brick Builders Show, over the weekend.

The event was organized by a local group of 'Lego-enthusiasts. It took place at the East Avenue Church.

The large display of Legos covered more than 80-feet of table space.

The brick communities included a boat harbor, a large train layout, a jungle cruise, space ships, and a motorized pod race.

There were also several interactive activities for kids and raffle prizes.

Lego ambassador, Scott Wenberg shared his passion for the event with Action News Now.

“It gives us a chance to showcase what we have built over the last year and share our passion for Lego with the community,” Wenberg said.

Kids who attended the event were in happy spirits while playing with the Legos.

The event helped raise money for Chico Youth Soccer.
