CHICO, Calif. - Chico Hyundai has split from Chico Nissan.
Thursday morning there was a ribbon cutting and celebration for their new location, a Hyundai-only dealership on Cohasset Road in Chico.

The opening of this Hyundai dealership is a great accomplishment for owner and CEO, Brian Bowen. He signed a contract back in 2005 to go exclusively with Hyundai and has been looking for a lot since then.
Bowen said this was a long time coming.
"Oh my gosh!" he said. "This means so much. It's been thirteen years in the planning. My team has worked so hard to get this up and running and open, and we're just excited."
"We've finally, you know, met our goal, and we've opened up a second store," Bowen said.
The new dealership is located at 2562 Cohasset Road, just a couple of blocks down from the old location, where Chico Nissan still stands.
