UPDATE 12:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018 - Firefighters have put out a fire that reportedly broke out at the Brooklyn Bridge Bagel Works in downtown Chico.
According to firefighters, a toaster caught fire at the bagel shop around 10:45 a.m. on Thursday.
They were able to put out the fire in around 2-3 minutes. Nobody was injured in the incident.

CHICO, Calif. - Firefighters are at the scene of a commercial structure fire in downtown Chico.
The fire broke out Thursday morning around 10:45 a.m. at 117 W. 2nd Street, Chico, in the area of Brooklyn Bridge Bagel Works and Chada Thai Cuisine.
According to the department, firefighters have located a fire in the attic of the building.
