CHICO, Calif. - "Gridley News" is back thanks to the Chico Enterprise-Record.

Many residents in the Gridley area have told us they were upset by recent changes with the "Gridley Herald."

The General Manager of the Chico Enterprise-Record told Action News Now that they will print a free paper every Wednesday, which will be delivered to 4,100 residents in Gridley, Biggs and Live Oak.

Lisa Van De Hay, who was a publisher and editor for the Herald for 26 years, will be reporting information.

The Herald was a publication for 137 years before employees were let go in August and the paper announced that it would no longer be printing. But it started up again in a different form.

The first publication of the "Gridley Hometown News" will go out on Wednesday, Oct. 10.
