CHICO, Calif. - The Chico city council could accept a huge donation from PG&E in a meeting Wednesday night.

The $50,000 donation from PG&E is designed to help offset costs to the city from the Camp Fire.

Chico applied for the donation through PG&E Better Together Giving Program in late November.

At a meeting Wednesday night, the council will decide whether the city will accept the donation and have the money go toward local assistance for those hurt by the Camp Fire.
