CHICO, Calif. - The Chico Children's Museum celebrated it's grand opening on Saturday morning. The Downtown Chico Business Association and the Chamber of Commerce helped welcome the new museum to the community. The museum group offered activities in 2018 at the Chioco Thursday Night Market downtown. Now their own facility has finally opened.
If you have little ones ages about 2 to 8 the museum is a hands-on, interactive space for the whole family to explore. They are closed on Mondays and are open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Sunday hours at noon to 5:00 p.m.
The museum will be closed on New Year's Day, Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Entry is free for kids under two years old. Visitors older than two will pay $9 to enter the museum. Seniors and veterans have a special $7 entry fee.
