CHICO, Calif. - The Chico Chamber of Commerce is co-hosting the 2021 Business Summit & State of the City Address, with the City of Chico on Friday.
The event will take place at 8:30 a.m. on Zoom. Chico Mayor, Andrew Coolidge, City Manager, Mark Orme, Matt Madden, Chief of Police, Steve Standridge, Fire Chief, Brendan Ottoboni, Public Works Director-Engineering, Mark Francis, President & CEO, Golden Valley Bank, and Ben Winter, Chair of the Board, Transfer Flow, Inc. will be in attendance.
“The annual Business Summit and State of the City Address is a unique forum that brings both city leaders and business leaders together to help us all understand the issues of our local and regional economies. This will be done virtually this year due to COVID-19, and while not ideal, we are hoping that the online venue will allow for even more participation from the community,” said Ben Winter, Transfer Flow, Inc., Chair of the Chamber Board.
Mark Francis, President & CEO, Golden Valley Bank says, “It’s been quite a year economically with a huge amount of outside money coming into our community. It will be interesting to see how long that money can take us into the future.”
