The event will take place at 8:30 a.m. on Zoom. Chico Mayor, Andrew Coolidge, City Manager, Mark Orme, Matt Madden, Chief of Police, Steve Standridge, Fire Chief, Brendan Ottoboni, Public Works Director-Engineering, Mark Francis, President & CEO, Golden Valley Bank, and Ben Winter, Chair of the Board, Transfer Flow, Inc. will be in attendance.

“The annual Business Summit and State of the City Address is a unique forum that brings both city leaders and business leaders together to help us all understand the issues of our local and regional economies. This will be done virtually this year due to COVID-19, and while not ideal, we are hoping that the online venue will allow for even more participation from the community,” said Ben Winter, Transfer Flow, Inc., Chair of the Chamber Board.

Mark Francis, President & CEO, Golden Valley Bank says, “It’s been quite a year economically with a huge amount of outside money coming into our community. It will be interesting to see how long that money can take us into the future.”

“Through good times and challenging times, a healthy working relationship is essential between a City and their business community. So, it’s a sincere privilege to continue to work hand-in-hand with the Chico Chamber of Commerce as they host the 2021 Business Summit & State of the City event.” - Mark Orme, City Manager, City of Chico.
