CHICO, Calif. - Business owners in Chico are on edge after four armed robberies in less than one week.
Action News Now reporter Laura Eng spoke to business owners on Nord Avenue near the latest robbery.
The latest robbery was caught on camera around 8:45 p.m. on Saturday night at Nord Avenue Market.
An employee at Star Liquors, located near where the robbery happened, said that he's taking extra precautions to ensure his safety.
"I have a very good camera system here, and I protect myself around me," said Pawan Pabbi, an employee at Star Liquors. "I communicate with the police every week. I call them, talk to them and then I check with them. I'm ready."
He said that he texted his friend earlier saying that he expects to be robbed any day now.
The other three robbery locations include East Avenue Liquor, All the Best Video and A&M Vapes.
